About

Red rover, red rover, send your amazing writing over!

Red Rover Magazine is a literary magazine with the vision of encouraging people to create fiction and poetry in order to allow art to flourish in the modern world, as well as improve their own well-being and mental health.

However, just because we are a mental health focused magazine doesn’t mean we only accept artwork that focuses upon well-being as a product. We’re more interested in artwork that inspired well-being as a process. We ask you to submit the artwork that made you feel proud, satisfied, joyous, happy, or invoked any other state of well-being in you as you created it. That’s how we reach our goal of inspiring improvement of mental health.

We are currently looking for a fiction editor to review our fiction submissions. If you’d like to help review submissions for a brand new literary magazine, please email editor@redrovermagazine.com with a short sample of your work and why you’d be interested. This is a strictly volunteer opportunity. We cannot currently afford to pay salary to our editors, as much as we’d love to do that.

Update: Due to unforeseen life circumstances, Issue Two Red Rover Magazine is currently indefinitely postponed as of January 2023. If you submitted work for Issue Two, feel free to submit and accept publications to other magazines. We apologize for the inconvenience, and wish you best of luck with your future publication endeavors.
